About Ann

Ann was a psychotherapist for over 30 years, which gives her an "interesting" look into the operational systems of organizations. Through those years, she developed a sense of humor (she had to, believe me.) She then transported her humor and her knowledge into the world of speaking and coaching. She has, for the last 15 years, been a corporate trainer and professional speaker, specializing in ReInvention in life and at work.

In both her coaching and her speaking, Ann helps to inspire people to move away from the "status quo" -to something that excites them, gives them juice, gets them out of bed in the morning.

In LIFE, She wants people to have the life they are meant to have, doing what they love, having adventures and being fulfilled... at any Age, Stage, or Circumstance.

At WORK, she's committed to workplace cultures being happy places and believes that in the workplace, "a happy employee is a productive employee." Within the company, she sees herself as an advocate for the employees... thinks companies should be "employee centric." If you take care of your employees, then they, in turn, will take care of your customers. She has worked with corporations of all sizes, from 100,000 employees to less than 100. She primarily coaches and develops leaders and provides training and facilitation inside. Clients include: Genzyme, King Pharmaceuticals, KPMG, McLane Co, Pernod-Ricard, Shell Oil.

Personally: Ann has worked as a special education teacher, a psychotherapist, a college professor and a healthcare administrator. She's been independently employed for 24 years, the last 15 as a Professional Speaker and Coach. She was married for 25 years, divorced at mid-life. She has a 33 year old son. In 2006, she sold everything (almost .. she brought the cats with her) and moved from Austin, TX to NYC for a new adventure. She walks her walk... she doesn't just speak about ReInvention... she does it!

In 2009, Ann was diagnosed with breast cancer and is now thriving and starting her newest business - We Are Booming... a "movement" to transform the conversation of aging in our country.

Ann is a proud member of the National Speakers Association (NSA). She is a Past President of the Heart of Texas Chapter of NSA and currently a member-at-large of the Board of the NYC Chapter of NSA. She is also a Professional Certified Coach and member of the International Coach Federation. She teaches the Master Coaching Class at NYU.
